Do you find business is so impersonal, that you'd much rather talk to your mates down the pub than go to yet another networking event?  Chances are, the people you meet in a business environment waffle on about their business - and the Speakers at these events, well - let's face it - sometimes you feel they're not really talking to you, they are talking at you.

And what about your personal life - isn't it annoying that it's easier to tell people you're okay instead of the truth when they ask, "How are you?"

 Perhaps you don't get it - and you feel like you're the only one in the room who doesn't. (Y'know .... it goes straight over your head .... WHOOSH!) Believe me - I've been there - and I know lots of others who have too!

In real life situations we cover ourselves with layers.

We're so good at lying to ourselves, it becomes second nature to lie to each other. But we're hurting ourselves by not being real.

Honesty really is the best policy

By breaking down the barriers that we've spent years creating and nurturing, we can achieve more than we ever thought possible.

 

  So, here I am – promoting myself as a Professional Speaker – joining the seemingly endless number of people who do so within the 'Business Community'.

But I like to think I’m different.
